Title: Lore of the Land
Description: The people that now inhabit the country are struggling to come to terms with Australia's history and its culture! This is a wonderful site to explore, attempt to understand and reflect on the relationship between the people and the country. It is a site based on the hope and wonder of this. This is a great site for students to investigate and to write a brief, one sentence, statement on what the Australian culture actually is/means.

Title: Australian Geographic
Description: This is a great online magazine (e-zine) featuring the geography, flora and fauna of Australia. Renowned for its excellent photography and easy to read style of writing this journal makes an excellent resource for all levels of the school. Once again we encourage teachers to take some of the photographs (with the permission of the site), and print them on an A3 printer, laminate them and use them as unit starters of for encouraging language work associated with that unit of study.
