Asia and Asian Web Site Reviews

Title: Asia Food
Description: We had to find a place for this web site, as it really is wonderful.  You can search, via keyword, to find any recipe that has its origins, or partial origin, in the Asian region.  You can also search through the encyclopaedia of Asian food, or search via region for particular dishes.  For students looking at applications in the food technology area this may be of some use, but in truth it is just an excuse for teachers to explore this wonderful site.

Description: This is a comprehensive collection of maps of Asian countries and regions. These are excellent when looking into the political and geographical nature of this region. There are also some excellent drawings by young Asian students who say more than words could ever say via their interpretations of life in their respective countries. The collection of photographs is also an excellent source of insight into the lives of people groups in this region.
